Who Exactly Am I & Why Should You Listen to Me?

As I said earlier my name is Steffany Hanlen and I’m an Olympic and World Class Performance Coach. I spent 16 years as an NHL skating coach under contract with the Edmonton Oilers and the St. Louis Blues. I have been to 5 World Championships and over 40 International Gran Prix events supporting my clients, and in February of 2006, I was at the side boards with the Canadian Champion Ice Dancers in Torino, Italy, for the Winter Olympic Games. That was the first time ever that a Performance Coach had been accredited by the COC and allowed to accompany athletes to this most coveted event!

Over the years, I’ve helped everyone from world class athletes and performers to self-employed business owners to politicians to real estate investors to parents to regular ‘Everyday Joe’s’ to media personalities surpass their wildest dreams and achieve success that they wouldn’t even allow themselves to dare hope was possible prior to stepping up and working with me.

The Frustrating But Simple Truth is ...
Changing Your Life on Your Own... is Hard

I recently read a book entitled, “Change or Die” by Alan Deutschman. The book deals with how hard it is for people to change their habits.

For example, in the book Mr. Deutschman writes that of the more than 1.5 million people every year in the United States who undergo coronary bypass graft or angioplasty surgery only 3 percent commit completely to a healthier lifestyle that would stop the course of their heart disease.

Clearly, even when the result of our inaction could be death it can still be difficult for us to change.

But Mr. Deutschman goes on to explain that change is possible and even becomes likely when certain factors are present, with two of the main factors being ”support” and “guidance” (coaching or mentorship)

In other words, if you have someone to provide support and guidance through your process, you can change your habits, identify the self defeating patterns, and begin to experience real success.

The key is, in the same the way a champion athlete needs a coach (most have more than one!) to win you need a coach who knows how to WIN too…

“And I can be that coach”!
