Biography
Steffany Hanlen is an Olympic and World Class Performance Coach. Currently an Inspirational and Key-note Speaker, she has been self-employed for over 25 years. Truth is… she has never had a real job.
After completing her program at the University of Alberta in Physical Education in 1986, with duo specialties in Athletic Training and Conditioning and Coaching, she spent 16 years as an NHL skating Coach under contract, for the Edmonton Oilers and the St. Louis Blues. Since 1990 she has worked with players on every team in the NHL.
Steffany's training in NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and as a Performance Excellence Coach for 6 years for business and corporate clients, convinced her that her gifts where best utilized with people wanting to bring out their Inner-Champion. She was attracting clients who were already successful yet knew 'there had to be more'.
Her focus quickly turned to creative entrepreneurs, successful investors, wildly successful world class athletes and performers of all types.
In February of 2006, Steffany was at the side boards with her Canadian Champion Ice Dancers in Torino, Italy for the Winter Olympic Games. This is the first time ever a Performance Coach had been accredited by the COC and allowed to accompany athletes to this most coveted event.
